I can go with you on the eating vegetables as long as it's fried potatoes or corn on the cob. But I guess cabbage is a vegetable too and I will never like cabbage. Never! Aunt Love says I will when I'm 30, but I don't think she's right. I'm still trying to decide what would be fun to do in 4-H. Maybe photography. I love taking pictures. Of course, if I got to be a princess I might like that!

Glad you're smiling. We should be smiling at Easter. I'm too old to hunt eggs anymore, but maybe I can help the little kids at church. I had a baby duck when I was younger. I named it Quackers...isn't that original! It was black & yellow. He went to duck heaven after being 'eaten' by the neighbor's bird-dog. I was pretty much devastated. I'm not a big chicken eater, more into vegetables and I sure couldn't eat chicken after seeing them as babies. I never won anything writing an essay and I do enter a lot of contests. It's fun doing that. I was in 4-H and learned to do a lot of things. I won all kinds of ribbons and got to be some kind of princess and ride in a parade! Both you and Ann have sent me down memory lane today! Thanks for making me smile! Have a blessed Easter! I just have one sister, Tabitha, but I always thought it might be fun having more. We don't have a lot of money either, but Daddy says we have enough. And the church people are always giving us food out of their gardens in the summer. If only they wouldn't give us so much cabbage and zucchini. What's wrong with raising lots of watermelons? Or planting more strawberries. And school won't be out for two more months! I'll have to take a dozen tests before that. So guess I'd better go do some studying. We raised baby chickens when I was a little girl, but we raised them for hens to give us eggs and to be able to put fried chicken and chicken and dumplings on our table. You see I had 7 brothers and sisters and not much money, so was one way we could help feed our family. I loved them when they were babies tho. BUT, I still love fried chicken just about anytime. I hope you will have a fun summer since it is about time for school to be out. Talk with you later. mac262(at)me(dot)comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
